George Chen is the chef at the Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel. He leads the restaurant’s culinary team in serving a selection of dishes inspired by the various regions of the Mediterranean.
Chen started as a cook at the hotel in 2002 before rising to the level of junior sous chef at Fresh Mediterranean Market. After spending three years mastering the restaurant’s cuisine, he ascended to his current role.
Chen has more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
Fresh Mediterranean Market serves made-to-order dishes for breakfast and lunch featuring eggs, pancakes, salads and sandwiches. The food emphasizes the regions of the Mediterranean including Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Morocco. Authentic Sangria and wines of the Mediterranean also are featured.
